We have been staying in our new house since last August. We love everything about the place and its surroundings but there is one thing that stood out as a big eye-sore: the lights. This entire house is lit with fluorescent lighting. It makes the overall ambience feel cold, stark, unfriendly, clinical, tasteless and boring.
This evening, we decided to change all the bulbs to energy-saving warm lights. When the first 2 bulbs of the living room were changed, we clapped our hands with joy! The warm and cosy mood set in immediately, just from the change of colour.
After all the lights were changed, the only question we had was, "why didn't we do it earlier?"
