Pflanzen Kaufen (Shopping for Plants)

This is an excursion that the whole family enjoys thoroughly. We went to Sungei Buloh to buy some plants for our terrace. Sungei Buloh is famous for its cheap plants and flowers. When we arrived, we were awed by the lush greenaries, the acres of land filled with different types of plants, the peaceful environment and the freedom the kids suddenly seemed to have as we felt safe enough to let them roam and run around on their own (within our vision range).

They jumped and got so excited when we said they could also buy some small plants with their pocket money. It's amazing how these boys are so quick in picking up their negotiating skills with the sellers just by observing the adults. As a result, they get several good discounts for the few bags of plants they bought. Haha... it was fun watching them doing the negotiations.

We had a hard time deciding what to get because the choices are aplenty!

Carpet grass and cow grass.

Look at these faces of satisfaction!
