Meat Cake, Egg and Radish Salad

A simple dinner we had last night.  This meat cake, Leberkäse (Deutsch) or Leberkas (Bayerisch), which is baked in the oven for 80 minutes, is a mixture of beef and pork and tastes somewhat like luncheon meat only that this is of a much higher quality.

The kids ate with garlic bread and boiled potatoes topped with lightly salted fresh cream and chopped chives (not in picture).  Christophe and I had the meat cake with lots of radish salad.
