Bart's 9th Birthday (Part III) - The Party

Bart is a satisfied boy today. As planned, he had his 3 friends PS, P and M over to celebrate his turning nine. They had a ball playing Nintendo's Super Mario Kart and Diddie Kong Racing. His cake was a surprise for him. I wrote "D.K Bart" on it, when he first saw it, he examined it with sheer delight. D.K is Donkey Kong for short and he's almost idolising this Nintendo character since the day his father introduced him to Donkey Kong Country. Every thing cool is Donkey Kong. Every thing else is "boo".

This is serious fun. They can't hear you when they are in it. The intensity is high.

We baked another cake for Bart for the party. Can you spot a black gorilla in the forest, at the peak of a hill? That's Donkey Kong.

We baked yet another cake, for the adults. This cake contains alcohol. It tastes great!

We had wanted to play soccer at the park but the weather didn't permit. The lightnings kept us indoors.

It was a small party. But a great success. After his friends left, we treated him to a delicious plate of roasted Teriyaki chicken leg, mashed potatoes and coleslaw for dinner with the family.
