As if the homemade burger wasn’t big enough, I have to outdo its size. Actually, this meat patty is way thicker and bigger than the previous one, unfortunately the picture did not show it so well, or rather, it is drown in sauces. It is also difficult to compare even though I used the same white plate. This time, we grilled the patties instead of pan-frying. We ran out of charcoal, so we used our chopped up Christmas tree from last year. It was a brilliant replacement. I don’t know if I could describe the taste precisely – it has a distinct taste and aroma, that charred taste.
We might just have to stock up more Christmas trees just for doing barbeques in the future.
