Life in the Big Freezer

It takes some getting used to, that the lenses of my spectacles condense to a blur when I enter the house from the outdoors. This type of condensation used to only occur when I stepped out of (an air-conditioned) car in the hot, humid weather in Asia. It is fascinating to see water turning into ice outside the house. We could really enjoy eating ice-cream slowly in a weather like this, no drips, no mess! As if we are living in a gigantic refrigerator (or at times freezer), just open the main door and step into mother nature's fridge.

I don't quite mind this weather more and more... I am beginning to be able to appreciate the wonders of nature, the charms of the four seasons.

It really isn't so bad after all. J
