Dinner at Meme and Pepe's

Bart playing the role as a 5-star restaurant waiter, he even had a towel hanging on his arm. Cautiously, he served his daddy the main course and wished him, "bon appetit", just like those you would see in a stylish French restaurant.

Last Sunday, Meme and Pepe invited us over to their house for dinner. The table was thoughtfully and tastefully set with wine glasses for adults and tall glasses for children. Each of us were assigned to our seats at the table, Johann even had a cushion on his chair to raise his height. The seating arrangement was well-thought out and I was impressed with Meme's attention to details. A short round vase of roses sat near the end of the table, to which Christophe sat, for this dinner was specially prepared for him. He would turn 38 the next day.

This is the woman who raised Christophe, whose love spills in surplus, to our benefit. We are so blessed to be relished in her love for us.

The main course: Baby wild boar and bread dumplings, with wild cranberry sauce, a dip for the tender, juicy meat. All soaked generously in a rich herbed sauce. Fresh salad was served too, but I forgot to take pictures.

Dessert: Vanilla ice cream with hot blueberry sauce, thickened with fresh cream and made more sinful with large amount of dissolved sugar.
