That Day When it Snowed Non-Stop...

...I didn't know what to do.
So I dialled Amanda's number,
just to find out what she might be up to.

It turned out her mother-in-law would come by
to play with Daniel and Liam in the snow.
They want to make a man out of snow.
I quickly suggested my place
before Amanda and I said bye-bye.

The boys were merry, their mothers were but cheeky.
For they gave the snowman bosoms, so round and perky.

A bottle of prosecco stood out shyly
from a natural make-shift chiller,
awaiting to be popped by Amanda,
the elegant wine-taster.

The day after the snowman was slaughtered,
the garden of snow laid helplessly ugly.
A mess that is fortunately not bloody,
and not a chore at all aplenty.

Note: Amanda is my English friend, Daniel and Liam are her 4 year old twins.
