When Oma learnt that we didn't manage to get an
Advent wreath to light the first candle, symbolising the first Advent Sunday, she offered us the wreath that was hung on her main entrance door immediately. So after
lunch, we stopped by her house to pick up the wreath, added four candles, before they sent us home.

While still at her place, she showed me her advent crown that she made by herself, from scratch. Most of the decoratives are taken from her garden, giving this larger than normal crown a very appealing and natural feel. It is gorgeous.

Then she brought me to another room to show me yet another wreath that she made for a friend. Another delightful presentation of all things Christmas.
We have already agreed that Oma will show me how to make one for next year's Christmas. I am so excited already. Can't wait.
