I didn't really want to cut his hair, he has such beautiful, brown wavy hair. Cutting his hair is as good as chopping off some of his charms.
But so many people, old and young, always mistake him for a girl, even though it doesn't bother him (or me). I thought I should give him a great start at his new and long overdue kindergarten the next day, so I went against my own will and snip off the excess length.
He hasn't lost his charms, has he? Hmm... I still prefer his long hair. Oh well, it will grow back and I will be faced with the same situation yet again.
