The temperature had finally settled to a consistent low to prevent the snow from melting. Guess who is thrilled? It is not difficult to expect things starting to pop up in our garden, and in our case, 2 snowmen. One completed and the other still headless. They were so proud of their masterpieces they pulled me out of the kitchen so I could be awed by their work. It is always nice to see snowman, the sight of one could generate a certain sense of happiness and absolutely bringing a smile to your face, as it did mine.
The next morning, after a night long of strong wind, the snowmen "peng san'd" (toppled). No more snowmen standing tall, only a few big snow balls scattered in the garden.
He couldn't stand up no more. No arms, no legs to help push him up. No children to bring him back to his invisible feet. As of today, more than a week after he collapsed, he is still laying at the same spot, motionless. He is not going away anytime this week, that I know for sure, because the temperature is going to dip further, to as low as -14 degrees Celsius. It is getting really, really cold now. Brrrr....
